The Forge Supper Cloth took place at Craft Central, Isle of Dogs ‘Making through Wellbeing’ part of London Craft Weekend 9th - 12th May 2019 inviting the local community to stitch the cloth in the wonderful setting of The Forge an old ironworks. The design of the cloth depicted local landmarks from the Isle of Dogs to encourage conversation around the history of the island. Local schools where invited to stitch around the cloth and enjoy the experience of embroidery and co-creating whilst learning about their local area by exploring the landmarks on the design of the cloth.
