Stitch-School took part in The Good Life Experience at Hawarden Castle Wales 12th - 15th September 2019. A four day festival of music, food, craft, talks, workshops, campfires and we were in heaven! A festival of discovery in search for the good life and meaning in a world of consumption and austerity. A chance to get outside and enjoy the outdoors and return of craft with a deeper level of connection.
Teaming up with illustrator Tom Frost who designed the cloth for the festival. What a beautiful piece it was, embroidered over four days from people of all ages and skills. We can’t wait to see it on display in the Hawarden farm shop for the community to enjoy! Photography @wearesightseers
